The Foster Grandparent program provided invaluable aid to more than 179 children and youth with literacy and/or exceptional needs in 2007. Foster Grandparents serve 15-40 hours a week in Head Start, local schools, and day care centers.
Retired & Senior Volunteers
Lead With Experience
The Retired and Senior Volunteer program is made up of volunteers age 55 and older who tutor children, deliver meals, provide clerical assistance, provide tours at local museums, or whatever their skills and interests lead them to do. They served in an eleven county area in 2007.
