EOA Board Members and Staff Attend Oath of Office Ceremony for Dr. M. Ann Levett, Superintendent of Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools

Wednesday, May 31, 2017, marked a historical event for Savannah and Chatham County as Dr. M. Ann Levett, the new Superintendent of Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools took the Oath of Office. The ceremony was held at her alma mater, A.E. Beach High School.

Wednesday, May 31, 2017, marked a historical event for Savannah and Chatham County as Dr. M. Ann Levett, the new Superintendent of Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools took the Oath of Office. The ceremony was held at her alma mater, A.E. Beach High School. The Honorable Chief Judge Tammy Stokes administered the Oath of Office.

EOA Board Members and Staff attended the Oath of Office Ceremony for Dr. Levett. The event was also well attended by city and government officials which included the dignitaries and who’s who in Savannah.

EOA Board members and Staff would like to congratulate Dr. Levett on her new position. Superintendent Levett’s remarks to our community of teachers, mayors, community leaders and dignitaries were from the bottom of her heart. She shares a long rich history of commitment to the children of Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools.
